Senators' Viktor Stalberg: Likely to play Wednesday

Stalberg (undisclosed) is expected to play in Game 3 against the Penguins on Wednesday, the Ottawa Citizen reports.
The Swede reportedly will take to the ice for warmups to make sure that he's feeling good enough to play. If so, second-year pivot Ryan Dzingel should wind up on the bench. Stalberg is versatile and can be used in a number of situations, but he's dealt with a "couple of issues" in these playoffs, and that seems to be reflected in his performance. He posted two points for his only points versus Boston in the quarterfinals, only to follow that up with a minus-5 rating and goose eggs in the subsequent six-game series against the Blueshirts. Anything can happen in the postseason, but we're not so bullish on Stalberg, given the circumstances.
