Waived Sunday

Miele was waived by the Red Wings on Sunday, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.Miele finished second in the AHL last season in scoring (70 points), and the Red Wings decided to sign him to a one-year deal as a result. However, he didn't do enough to earn a roster spot, and will likely end up in the AHL once again.
