Tiger Woods did not get off to a great start at the 2015 British Open, carding a 4-over 76 for his worst career round in a major. Woods, Tom Watson and five other golfers are T139 with only 12 men behind them on the leaderboard after the first round.
Still, fans want know is not only what time does the Open starts Friday but also when Tiger tees off at St. Andrews. And we're here to answer those questions.
Woods will try to avoid the cut line at The Open Championship alongside Jason Day and Louis Oosthuizen. The trio will tee off at 9:56 a.m. ET on Friday.
It is unknown, as of press time, whether the Woods-Day-Oosthuizen trio will be one of the featured groups that ESPN will stream online Friday but with Day (T2) and Oosthuizen (T8) both at the top of the pack, it is likely.
To ensure that you will be able to watch Woods play, tune into ESPN's television broadcast, which will air from 4 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET on Friday.
You can also watch the TV broadcast of the British Open on your computer or mobile device starting at 4 a.m. ET via WatchESPN/ESPN3.
ESPN's online offerings also include a live stream of the Road Hole, No. 17 at St. Andrews.
