Geoff Ogilvy: 'Rory's shots more flush than Tiger at his best'
Tiger Woods was one of the greatest ball-strikers in the history of golf. One tour pro says he's not even as good as Rory McIlroy.

The comparison is inevitable and will be until both Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods are retired.
Jaime Diaz wrote a tremendous profile of McIlroy for Golf Digest this week. It included some great insight into McIlroy's world (he eats salmon!), but this quote from Geoff Ogilvy stuck out to me.
"Rory's shots make the best noise, more flush even than Tiger's at his best," said Ogilvy.
That's not a hot take. Ogilvy is one of the most nuanced thinkers in the sport, and he doesn't spout off without having first thought through what he's saying.
I'm not saying it's true because such things are as subjective as it gets, but the fact that there's even a question makes me wonder if we aren't underrating McIlroy's trajectory.
Given the sounds some of Woods' shots make here, that would be quite a feat.
