It's over.

I'm sorry, but it is.

Jordan Spieth ended the 2015 Masters on Friday morning with a second-round 65. In doing so, he also broke the 36-hole Masters scoring record by posting 14-under 130 through two rounds.

The previous record, set by Raymond Floyd in 1976, was 13-under 131.

Spieth told ESPN after his second round that he learned a ton from finishing in the top two last season.

"Last year and the momentum from the last few weeks," said Spieth. "I've been kind of on my game, feeling pretty good about how I've been striking the ball. It's good just to be at the tournament, let alone out front."

The best part about Spieth ending the Masters is that it's suddenly become that much more compelling. Here's his insane approach on the 8th hole (one of his six birides):

Can Spieth break Tiger Woods' 72-hole record of 18-under 270? Can he get to 20 under? Can he get to 25 under? Nobody's ever finished 20 under in a major.

Spieth went out in 33 on Friday and backed that up with another 33 on the second nine. His nine-hole sets this weekend are an embarrassment of riches.

First nine: 32
Second nine: 32
Third nine: 33
Fourth nine: 33

Spieth was dialed in once again, making six birdies and no bogeys. He only has exactly one bogey for his first 36 holes. One. To 15 birdies.

This is a clown show, people. It's as if nobody else is even playing the same sport.

Spieth does have folks chasing (Charley Hoffman is also double digits under par), but he as the look of somebody whose time has come.

When asked how he'll handle the weekend pressure and what would be his biggest obstacle, Speith said he would just try to stay within himself.

"Scoreboard watching. I just need to keep my head down. I need to set a goal for myself. They might speed the greens up a little bit tomorrow. It's going to be more challenging."

All that's left is to see just how much history he'll set this weekend.
