Dustin Johnson earned just over $100,000 for his T16 finish at the Genesis Open at Riviera Country Club last week, but he didn't experience the excitement another $100,000 winner did. Paul Shadle of Minnesota took home a $75,000 boat and $25,000 in cash for sinking a 120-foot putt at the Minnesota Golf Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

But that's just half of it (almost literally). Shadle had to make a 100-foot putt after paying $5 and then a 50-foot putt just to get into position for the $100,000 prize(s). According to the news report below, nobody in the 28-year history of the event had pulled off the 120-footer.

The reaction to Shadle's "ace" was understandably bonkers, even if he doesn't completely know what happened.

"They said the place erupted," he said. "I don't remember anything for the next 30 seconds. I couldn't do it again if I tried. Another 100 years, another 1,000 tries -- there's no way."
