Web.com Tour golfer Ethan Tracy won in the most improbable manner at the Club Colombia Championship on Sunday. Tracy, a former Arkansas Razorbacks golfer, holed out for eagle from 101 yards away on the par-5 18th hole to get to 13 under and sneak into a playoff. From there, he went par-birdie to defeat Roberto Diaz in sudden death.

The shot on No. 18 which touched off a final-round 65 for Tracy was pretty incredible.

"I was trying to make it. I knew 13 [under] was the number," said Tracy. "I was going to get it all the way back to that pin. If it went over the green, so be it. I have to give it a chance. It happened."

Tracy then buried a 20-foot putt for the win on that second playoff hole.

"I was just grateful to be in the playoff," said Tracy. "Somehow I made a great shot, and I was fortunate that it went in. I capitalized on a good shot in the playoff with a great putt. Overall, the 18th was pretty good to me."

The win was Tracy's first on this tour in just his fourth start. He has bounced round from tour to tour in the past few years, but this moment could stabilize his career as he hunts down PGA Tour membership for the 2017-18 season. He is currently No. 1 on the Web.com Tour money list.
