Perhaps searching for the field of dreams, Hall of Famer Carlton Fisk was reportedly arrested for allegedly driving under the influence on Monday in Illinois after driving his truck into a cornfield.

According to TMZ.com, New Lenox (about 40 miles from downtown Chicago) police received a call about a vehicle in a cornfield around 7:20 p.m. When the police arrived, Fisk's F-150 had a flat tire and he was asleep, according to TMZ. The TMZ.com report also says a vodka bottle was found in the truck.

The report states Fisk, 64, refused a blood alcohol test when taken to a hospital.

According to Patch.com, Fisk was booked on a misdemeanor DUI charge, as well as charges of lane use violations and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Fisk's arrest occurred on the 37th anniversary of his famous home run on Oct. 22, 1975, which gave the Red Sox a 7-6 win in Game 6 of the World Series against the Reds. The Reds went on to win Game 7.
