Eric Sogard slumping after solid start

Athletics second baseman Eric Sogard is mired in a slump at the plate, going 3 for 23 in his last 10 games. He hasn't collected an extra-base hit since April 15.

The A's have shown a willingness over the past week to play Jed Lowrie at second base with Adam Rosales manning shortstop. If Rosales continues to hit well and the configuration sticks, Sogard could see a further reduction in playing time.
