Across parts of 15 big-league seasons with the Phillies and White Sox, slugger Greg Luzinski clouted 307 home runs, put up an OPS+ of 130, made four All-Star teams and twice finished runner-up in the NL MVP balloting. He was very good at his chosen craft, you see.

Regarding all of that, please know that Saturday occasions the 64th birthday of Mr. Luzinski. In the spirit of same, we'd like to first present to you a bad-ass photo of the man they called "The Bull" ...
