Former Padres reliever Jason Marquis is expected to throw in front of scouts on Friday, FOX Sports reports.
Marquis is working his way back from Tommy John surgery and is still looking to pitch for a major-league team this season. The 35-year-old went 9-5 with a 4.05 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in 117 2/3 innings last season before the injury.
