Back from a fractured non-throwing elbow, Angels starter Jered Weaver looked as sharp as ever in his first win of the season.

Weaver pitched six solid innings as he gave up just one earned run on five hits and no walks with seven strikeouts over 86 pitches in his first start since April 7 and third of the season.

Outside of the start in Texas that he suffered his injury, Weaver (1-1) has looked like his All-Star self. He'll make his next start Monday against Houston.
