Astros reliever Jerome Williams was cleared to return from a groin injury Saturday against the Rangers, but he never emerged from the bullpen during a 6-5 win in 10 innings. He will likely be used sometime in the coming days, as long as he avoids any kind of setback.

Williams has appeared in three games this season, though none since suffering the injury Wednesday. He has a 9.00 ERA in six innings of work.
