White Sox pitcher John Danks took a loss Tuesday, giving up four runs (two earned) on seven hits and one walk in six innings while striking out three in his team's 11-2 defeat against the A's.

Danks (9-11) is 0-5 over his last eight starts, and Tuesday's loss was just his third quality start during that stretch. He gave up a pair of runs in the fourth and two more in the fifth, though errors in both those innings allowed him to pull out a quality start. Danks owns a 5.05 ERA and 115:65 K:BB ratio in 174 2/3 innings. He's scheduled to face the Royals Monday.
