Jordy Mercer remains on roll in defeat of Diamondbacks

Jordy Mercer has taken the shortstop job with the Pirates and run with it - and he continued on a dead sprint Friday night.

Mercer achieved his third two-hit performance in the last six games to help Pittsburgh win at Arizona. He doubled twice, scored three runs and drove in another as his stat line improved to .254/.300/.374. He's batting .360 with six runs scored in his last seven games.
