Kerry Wood went off on MLB umpire Joe West in a Twitter rant and it was great

After Joe West ejected Cubs manager Joe Maddon, the former Cubs pitcher was angry

On Monday night, Cubs manager Joe Maddon was ejected by long-time attention-seeking umpire Joe West.

That was on the heels of retweeting five complaints (well, four complaints and one explanation) about West's ejection of Maddon. And let's be clear, it wasn't so much that West ejected Maddon, it was how it all went down. It was totally unnecessary to make any sort of scene and definitely didn't need to be escalated.

But, hey, that's West. He's been doing this for 40 years (yes, he broke in the NL in 1976).

Wood put a bow on his complaint with a succinct conclusion:
