Thursday afternoon, the Cubs wrapped up their series with the Giants with a 5-1 win at Wrigley Field (box score). The reigning World Series champions are now off to the West Coast for a six-game road trip.
To liven up the flight out west, Cubs skipper Joe Maddon had his team dress up as characters from "Anchorman" for the road trip. Check it out:

Themed road trips are nothing new for Maddon. He's had his clubs dress up for flights for years and years, dating back to his time in Tampa. It's all part of his master plan to keep the team loose, and hey, it sure seems like it's working.
