Matt Moore placed on 15-day disabled list

Rays pitcher Matt Moore was placed on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Moore was removed from his start Monday with left elbow soreness. He felt "extremely better" Tuesday morning but was still scheduled to undergo an MRI, the results of which likely led the team to stick him on the DL. Moore is 0-2 with a 2.70 ERA and 6:5 K:BB ratio in 10 innings.
