As previously noted, Rangers ace Yu Darvish was a scratch for Tuesday night's game against the Twins because of neck stiffness. Results of his MRI are now back, and they've been termed "unremarkable," as MLB.com's T.R. Sullivan notes. Presumably, that's a good thing and indicates a clean report.
The team went to note that it's not yet certain when Darvish will make his next start. However, his neck is responding favorably to treatment.
This season, the 27-year-old right-hander has pitched to a 2.35 ERA and 3.74 K/BB ratio after nine starts.
