Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos will likely undergo hamate bone surgery on his left hand Wednesday morning, which would sideline him for four to eight weeks, the Washington Post reports.
Ramos was pulled in the seventh inning of Monday's debut, though no reason was given for his removal. The catcher will likely suffer from reduced power even after he returns. Jose Lobaton will likely serve as the team's starting catcher for the immediate future.
