CLEVELAND -- For the sixth straight season, I got to peek in on the celebration of the World Series champions. This time around, it was the Chicago Cubs, so yeah, it was crazy. Not only do they surely realize they are now officially rock stars for the rest of their lives in a huge and sports-crazy city, but there's a ton of color in that clubhouse from the top on down.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're tired of hearing about them having fun. But they do, and they just won the World Series, so deal with it.

First off, I'm not sure I've seen a scene like this outside the clubhouse at any other time.

Inside, it's party time.

David Ross was hugging everyone in sight after retiring with a World Series title. In his final four seasons, he won two rings -- with the Cubs and Red Sox. That's quite a way to bow out.

Hey, more yelling and spraying champagne!

Obviously Cubs president Theo Epstein was heavily involved.

Lots of people still call Epstein the "GM," but the general manager is actually Jed Hoyer. And here he is, living it up.

Per many of the Cubs, Jason Heyward gave a great speech during the brief rain delay. Here he is talking about it while everyone celebrates in the background.

Addison Russell was huge this series for the Cubs, particularly with his defense and the grand slam in Game 6. Here he is, dealing with interviews while surely wanting to celebrate.

Javier Baez is having fun. Shocking, I know.

Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg, who now works with the front office, was on hand to celebrate something he might not have thought he would ever see.

The Chicago Cubs are World Series champions. It has happened.
