The White Sox made a series of moves as they work toward putting together a 25-man roster.

Chicago optioned pitcher Erik Johnson and outrighted pitchers Maikel Cleto and Onelki Garcia to Triple-A Charlotte, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. They reassigned pitcher Jairo Asencio, outfielder Engel Beltre, catcher George Kottaras and pitcher Arcenio Leon to minor-league camp.

These moves give the White Sox 28 players left in major-league camp. The 40-man roster is not down to 37.
