Chris Paul records historic 20-point, 20-assist, zero-turnover game vs. Pelicans
The Point God put on a show Saturday night
Chris Paul did something on Saturday night that hadn't been accomplished in 32 years. In the Clippers' 133-105 victory against the short-handed Pelicans, Paul finished with 20 points, 20 assists, and zero turnovers.
Clippers' Chris Paul (20 assists, 0 turnovers) is 1st player w/ 20 or more assists & 0 TOs since Utah's Rickey Green in 1984.

Paul is averaging 17.8 points, 9.4 assists, and 5.2 rebounds, shooting 46 percent from the field, 40 percent from 3-point range, and 89 percent from the stripe this season. He has been worthy of inclusion in talks for MVP and brought the kind of precision that makes people call him "The Point God," but to throw up 20 assists with zero turnovers is just nuts.
Paul's amazing, and continues, even at age 31, to be one of the elite point guards in the league. He has been among the top three or four point guards every season for a decade. It will feel empty because of the loss to the Warriors on Wednesday, but he continues to lead the Clippers to win after win this season, and prove that he hasn't fallen off a bit.
Incredible game from CP3.
