Curry ties Kyle Korver's NBA record with 3-pointer in 127th straight game
Stephen Curry ties an NBA record by making a three for the 127th straight game.
Sorry Kyle Korver. Stephen Curry is coming for your record.
When the Golden State Warriors faced the Miami Heat on Wednesday, Curry made a 3-pointer for the 127th consecutive game, matching Korver's NBA record. It came virtually at the start of the game, after just one minute had passed. In true Curry fashion, the 3 he hit to tie the record was from well behind the arc.
Just like that, @StephenCurry30 ties the record for most consecutive games with three! (CSNBA) pic.twitter.com/oPuJszoom4

Korver set the record in the 2013-2014 season after the mark had stood for 17 years. Now because of Curry, Korver could only hold on to the record for basically two years. Curry keeps breaking all sorts of 3-point records, often ones he set himself, so it was only matter of time before he caught up to Kover. The Warriors guard has been on his streak since early last season -- Nov. 13, 2014.
Curry is shooting a ridiculous 45.5 percent on 3-pointers, so the probability of him breaking the record in Golden State's next game is obviously quite high. Especially since he can make 3s from basically halfcourt with relative ease.
