Through 3 Quarters

The Atlanta Hawks are just one quarter away from delivering their fans the win they've been expecting. It's looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Orlando Magic as Atlanta lead 106-82.

The Hawks have been relying on point guard Trae Young, who has 22 points and six assists, and shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanovic, who has 19 points and four assists. Point guard Cole Anthony has led the way so far for Orlando, as he has 23 points and five assists in addition to seven boards. Anthony does need to be careful, however, as he is in foul trouble with four.

This is tied with the most points Atlanta has had yet this year going into the fourth quarter.

Who's Playing

Atlanta @ Orlando

Current Records: Atlanta 27-30; Orlando 13-46

What to Know

After four games on the road, the Orlando Magic are heading back home. The Magic and the Atlanta Hawks will face off in a Southeast Division battle at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday at Amway Center. Orlando and Atlanta are even-steven over their past 26 head-to-heads (13-13).

Orlando came up short against the Denver Nuggets on Monday, falling 121-111. Orlando's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of small forward Franz Wagner, who had 26 points in addition to eight rebounds, and power forward Wendell Carter Jr., who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 boards.

Meanwhile, Atlanta was able to grind out a solid win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, winning 124-116. The Hawks' point guard Trae Young did his thing and had 41 points and nine assists.

The Magic are expected to lose this next one by 5.5. At 7-18 against the spread at home, they are no cash cow. That said, Atlanta isn't so hot on the road, where they are 9-18.

Atlanta's victory lifted them to 27-30 while Orlando's defeat dropped them down to an irreparable 13-46. We'll see if Atlanta can repeat their recent success or if Orlando bounces back and reverse their fortune.
