Reports: Houston moving to secure Chris Bosh after LeBron decision

After LeBron James announced his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers Monday, the Houston Rockets reportedly went into overdrive in their efforts to sign Heat free agent Chris Bosh

Houston is reportedly offering Bosh a max $88 million contract and the chance to contend for a title next to Dwight Howard, James Harden, Chandler Parsons (if they match his offer sheet from Dallas, and now Bosh. He helps them specifically with their defensive scheme and gives them a floor-spacer to clear room for Howard inside.
With the addition of Chris Bosh, the Rockets would move into legitimate title contention. But they have to move fast. They have to clear space for Bosh by trading Omer Asik in a complicated trade with the Pelicans and move Jeremy Lin in a reported move to Philadelphia and do so by Sunday night at 12 a.m. ET Monday morning to avoid losing Parsons.
Houston has caught a huge break with James going to Cleveland. Now they have to capitalize.
