San Antonio Spurs fan Brayden Neubauer made a pledge on Jan. 14. If a tweet voting Kawhi Leonard as an All-Star got over 12,000 retweets, Neubauer would get cornrows. It went viral, got the retweets that were necessary, and Neubauer, who writes for SB Nation Spurs blog Pounding The Rock, held up his end of the bargain on Saturday:

That's commitment. (@spurs)

Neubauer does not seem to be disappointed with how it turned out:

The Spurs' social media accounts were all over it. I hope the team paid for the haircut.

The best part: It worked. Neubauer's cornrows are part of the reason that Leonard overtook Draymond Green in the final days of All-Star voting and was named a starter. This really worked out for everybody.

All that's left is for Leonard to see what happened. I wonder if his facial expression will change at all.
