What you need to know about the Trail Blazers

Portland has not lived up to expectations so far this season, but it has some momentum coming into this game. The Trail Blazers have won two straight games, including a 105-100 win over the red-hot Grizzlies on Sunday. Portland can attribute much of its success to point guard Damian Lillard, who had 32 points, five assists and five rebounds in the win. Lillard, however, is questionable for this one with hamstring tightness.

Norman Powell added 28 points, 20 of which came in the second half, in a victory that snapped the Grizzlies' five-game winning streak. The Trail Blazers are currently without shooting guard CJ McCollum who is out with a collapsed right lung. Portland has won just two of its last 15 road games, but one of those victories came against Memphis.

What you need to know about the Pelicans

It took overtime to finish the job, but New Orleans ultimately got the result it was hoping with a 116-112 win over the Milwaukee Bucks its last time out. Point guard Devonte' Graham was the offensive standout of the matchup for New Orleans, shooting 8-for-12 from downtown and finishing with 26 points. Graham was also the hero in a win over Oklahoma City last Wednesday, as he banked in a 61-foot, buzzer-beating 3-pointer to win the game.

He followed that performance up with eight 3-pointers in the overtime win over Milwaukee. The Pelicans have struggled offensively this season, though, only knocking down 43.5 percent of their shots, which is the fifth-lowest field-goal percentage in the league. They have covered the spread in seven of their last 10 home games against Portland.
