Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden probably has the best side-to-side game in the NBA right now. He's definitely athletic in a vertical sense, but the majority of his elusiveness comes from moving side-to-side with quickness instead of blowing past you with blinding speed.

A big part of that is his ability to execute the Euro-step. He's probably the best in the NBA at doing the move that has been popularized by Manu Ginobili, Dwyane Wade, and a few others over the years. After you pick up your dribble, you fake hard to one side then step to the other side of the defender to get by him and finish at the rim.
