The Cavaliers jumped all over the Warriors in Game 6 Thursday in the first quarter. They played with energy and intensity. The Warriors were caught flat-footed, and when foul trouble erupted for Draymond Green and Stephen Curry, it started to really get out of hand.
The Cavs, meanwhile, were a whirlwind. Check out the pass from Kyrie Irving to LeBron James for the flush here.
Turnover. Push ball. Finish with athleticism. That's the formula that the Oklahoma City Thunder used to push the Warriors for most of their series, and it turns out the Cavaliers have had higher pace in their wins in this series than in losses.
They are having success when they're the aggressor, and if Irving is trusting the pass in those situations instead of firing contested shots, it spells good things for the Cavaliers.
