Kyler Murray couldn't say enough about the newest addition to the Arizona Cardinals offense, a unit that was already explosive before the arrival of Zach Ertz. The new Cardinals tight end showcased how Arizona catapulted from playoff team to potential Super Bowl contender, catching a 47-yard touchdown in his Cardinals debut.

The touchdown catch was the longest of Ertz's nine-year career. He never had a touchdown reception over 35 yards in his Eagles tenure. Ertz fit right in with the Cardinals offense, catching three passes for 66 yards and a touchdown in the blowout victory.

"He is great. He had a quick week, but he learned it quickly," Murray said after the game. "I think we helped him out a lot as far as signals and all that stuff and knowing where to be. He did well today, obviously he scored today so it was a good day for him."

Ertz is the first player in NFL history to score a touchdown in back-to-back weeks for two different teams. The Cardinals tight end added another dimension to the offense in the middle of the field, as evidenced by the long touchdown grab. Arizona already has DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green, Christian Kirk, and Rondale Moore lined up at wide receiver -- as the quartet are one of the best pass-catching units in the game. Ertz completes that package.

The Cardinals didn't have any problem incorporating Ertz into the scheme, even with Kliff Kingsbury unable to be around his first week due to COVID protocols.

"He's a Stanford grad so we knew he could handle the load mentally," Kingsbury said. "I didn't get to be there this week, but just listening to the guys talk about his professionalism, attention to detail, he was dialed in from the first day he was out there. And that
is another weapon to work the middle of the field, a big target, and he had a nice day today."

Ertz already is amazed by the team he's with after just one week, certainly showing a sign of what's to come as the Cardinals continue being the lone unbeaten team in football.

"We have a lot of talent," Ertz said, via the Cardinals website. "I've never seen so much green grass in the middle of the field and that's gonna happen with guys like DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green on the outside.

"It was fun to win a football game and be a part of this culture and team environment."
