What to Know
The Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans will face off in an AFC South clash at 1 p.m. ET Oct. 31 at Lucas Oil Stadium. These two teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games.
The Colts netted a 30-18 victory over the San Francisco 49ers last week. Indianapolis' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but QB Carson Wentz led the charge as he passed for two TDs and 150 yards on 26 attempts in addition to punching in one rushing touchdown. Wentz ended up with a passer rating of 139.20.
Indianapolis' defense was a presence as well, as it collected two interceptions and two fumbles. The picks came courtesy of CB Xavier Rhodes and SS Khari Willis.
Meanwhile, Tennessee made easy work of the Kansas City Chiefs last week and carried off a 27-3 win. The Tennessee offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway. Among those leading the charge for Tennessee was WR A.J. Brown, who caught eight passes for one TD and 133 yards. That receiving effort made it the first game that Brown has posted more than 100 yards receiving.
Tennessee's defense was a presence as well, as it got past the Chiefs' offensive line to sack the quarterback four times for a total loss of 31 yards. Leading the way was DE Denico Autry and his two sacks. Autry now has 3.5 sacks through seven games.
This next matchup is expected to be close, with the Colts going off at just a 2.5-point favorite. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a four-game streak of ATS wins.
The wins brought Indianapolis up to 3-4 and the Titans to 5-2. Indianapolis is 1-1 after wins this year, Tennessee 3-1.
