Eagles QB Mark Sanchez throws TD pass for first time since 2012
Mark Sanchez threw a touchdown pass for the first time in almost two years on Sunday.

Guess who's back?
Yup, you guessed it. Mark Sanchez.
After Eagles starting quarterback Nick Foles left the game with an injury in the first quarter against the Texans on Sunday, Sanchez came in and threw a touchdown pass to Jordan Matthews.
A Sanchez touchdown pass is big news these days because they don't happen often. The last time Sanchez threw a touchdown pass came on Dec. 17, 2012. That's almost two years ago.
Sanchez has been impressive in relief of Foles so far, hitting on his first 4 of 5 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown. Sanchez's only "incompletion" was a pass that was picked after hitting Eagles wide receiver Josh Huff.
It's fitting that the guy who invented the butt-fumble threw a touchdown pass on the same day that someone in the NFL scored on a butt-touchdown.
