Sorry Jets fans, you're nowhere on this map. (Facebook)
Sorry Jets fans, you're nowhere on this map. (Facebook)

Apparently, Jets fans use MySpace. At least that's my theory after seeing this map released by Facebook on Friday that shows how popular each NFL team is in individual counties across the country.

Facebook determined how popular each team was based on how many "likes" the team got in a certain county. As you can see at the top of the page, the Jets are not the most popular team in any county in the country.

The state of New York seems to like two teams: The Giants and the Bills. The Jets are literally the only team not represented on the map; even the Jaguars have the most fans in at least 10 counties across the country.

What else should we take notice of on this map?

1. The Raiders should probably go ahead and move back to LA.

2. Alaska (Seahawks) and Hawaii (49ers) hate each other.

3. Kentucky is a giant cesspool of confused NFL fans. The state has 120 counties divided among six teams (Bengals, Steelers, Titans, Colts, Cowboys). There's a sixth team thanks to a lone single county in central Kentucky that's obviously full of cheeseheads.

4. The Cowboys really do have fans everywhere.

5. When people in Alabama aren't yelling "Roll Tide," apparently they're yelling "Geaux Saints."

If you want to break this thing down county-by-county yourself, you can see a larger image of the map here
