Gronk is getting ready for the summer. (DuJour Magazine)

Rob Gronkowski is a busy man. We know this because we've been following along with the Winter of Gronk and the Spring of Gronk all offseason. Seriously, we've been diligent:

So when we say the Summer of Gronk is going to be even better, we know of which we speak. And the Summer of Gronk is going to be even better.

Gronkowski recently sat down for a feature with DuJour Magazine (full disclosure: I grew up with the article's author) in which he discussed, among other things, his dating life, his party habits, his football career and his taste -- or lack thereof -- in wine, while also posing for pictures on the beach with a whole bunch of ladies, and lounging by the pool with a towel and a puppy.

Here are some choice quotes from the story:

On lasting until the second round of the draft: “It was definitely a blessing in disguise. Some players peak at 20 years old, so if you pick them in the top 10 just because they dominate in college, it doesn’t mean that they’re going to keep on improving. The way things ended up for me . . . I feel like it just happened for a reason.”

On his favorite drinks: “My drink is usually vodka with water because it gets you hydrated and drunk at the same time. I never drink wine. There’s only one wine I like, but I forget what it’s called. It tastes like Sprite.”

On how his dancing and partying affect his public perception: "There’s definitely a time to party and a time to focus on work, but you need to let loose a little bit so that you can go back on Monday feeling refreshed and motivated to work hard again. People act like dancing is breaking the law and partying is a crime. Everyone thinks I’m in trouble 24/7, but what have I really done besides dance?”

He also answered additional questions for the feature, via quotes obtained by Bleacher Report:

What’s the strangest fan interaction you’ve had recently? "Guys always follow me into the bathroom and ask for pictures and stuff. My brother Gordo said he had to jump up and block some dude who tried to take a picture of my…you know…while I was pissing. Gordo said my piece was just hangin’ out while I was talking to the guy."

Can you tell me what your dating life is like? "I haven't been on a date in five years."

Have you ever been on Tinder? "I tried to do Tinder one time three years ago as a joke because we were bored in the locker room. I just kept swiping right and sending messages to people, and not one person believed it was me! Now there are fake accounts and everyone tweets at me, “I just got Tinder matched with @RobGronkowski,” and I’m like…no one believed it when it was really me! It was funny."

In an accompanying video (which can be watched in full below below), Gronk had more to say about how his teammates perceive him, his favorite part of the offseason, and even his days as a student.

What would your teammates say about you? "In talking with my close friends that see me go out and everything, they just say I like a good time, I'm just upbeat, always going."

What are you most looking forward to about the offseason? "Getting back to training. You get away from it for like a month, you start missing the football atomosphere, you start missing the training, you start missing being around your team. I'm definitely excited to get back to it."

On his life as a student: "I did make National Honors Society in high school. I kind of always did get good grades. Math was my favorite subject and English was my worst."
