How to watch, live stream Eagles vs. Redskins: Time, TV channel, odds, predictions
If you want to watch Washington against Philadelphia, here's how
The NFL is a fickle beast. Two weeks into the season the Redskins were left for dead, a team without an identity, obviously prepared to blow it all up and start over after flushing $20 million down the toilet for Kirk Cousins on a one-year deal. Cousins hasn't morphed into some franchise quarterback, but the Redskins have won three straight games at this point.
They're right back in the hunt, nay, one game back of the Cowboys for the division lead. Between them and Dallas are the Eagles, a stunningly impressive team five weeks into the season.
Philly took its first loss of the year last week against the Lions, a weird come-from-behind victory for Detroit thanks to a bizarre fumble situation. Philadelphia's defense is outstanding and it will cause problems for Washington, who doesn't have a great running game or, uh, passing attack. Jordan Reed dealing with a concussion isn't helping matters either.
There's just something about this game, though. Vegas made the Eagles favorites by nearly a field goal despite it being a divisional rivalry game on the road.
Does Carson Wentz struggle at some point? Not like he deserves or needs to struggle. He's a very good young player and looks like a great quarterback to build around. But even the greatest young quarterbacks struggle. He can't be great all season long. It's just not going to happen.
And the Eagles are coming off their first loss. Wentz is coming off his first interception. They're entering a four-game stretch with three divisional matchups on the road and a home game against the Vikings.
That's just a really tough stretch of football games. This one matters a whole lot for both teams.

Prisco's Pick
This is a big NFC East game with Dallas off to the fast start. The Eagles are playing consecutive road games, even if this is a short trip. I think that helps. They are the better team. Their defense shuts down the Redskins here.
Pick: Eagles 30, Redskins 17
