Earl Thomas is a man of many skills. He's arguably the best cover safety in the NFL, and he can lay some hits with the best of them, too, despite his smaller stature compared to other players at his position.

When he was in high school, Thomas was even more multi-dimensional than he is today. As revealed in a recent video on The Player's Tribune, Thomas also played in the high school band. One time, after he scored a touchdown just before halftime (he was also a running back at the time), he ran directly into the locker room, put on his band uniform, performed with the band, and then changed back into his football jersey for the rest of the game.

Thomas' fiancee, Nina Baham-Heisser, said of those days, "In high school, Earl was really quiet -- pretty reserved. I thought it was so weird that he's this great athlete and he goes home and he's like, 'Yeah, I'm just practicing my sax.' He was a band geek and a football jock, but he made it work."

As for how the Seahawks star himself felt about the experience? "Putting on a band uniform was the worst," Thomas said. "I had a wedgie in the front. I'm a football player, man."
