NFL Trade Deadline Tracker 2019: Rams move on from Aqib Talib, but other rumored deals don't materialize
Rumors and analysis from Tuesday's NFL trade deadline
The NFL's midseason game of musical chairs wrapped up on Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. ET with the trade deadline.
Leading up to this year's deadline, we'd already seen a solid amount of movement throughout the league. Some of the headliners included Los Angeles Rams acquiring corner Jalen Ramsey, the Niners dealing for receiver Emmanuel Sanders and New England trading for receiver Mohamed Sanu. On the eve of the deadline, running back Kenyan Drake was shipped out of Miami and to Arizona and defensive tackle Leonard Williams was sent across the hall of MetLife Stadium as the Jets traded him to the Giants.
While we've already seen numerous trades go down, and there were plenty of trade rumors, there wasn't much action.
The trade deadline came and went, but who won and who lost? John Breech, Ryan Wilson and Sean Wagner-McGough joined Will Brinson on the Pick Six Podcast to break it all down. Listen below and be sure to subscribe here for daily NFL goodness fired into your eardrums.
The only trade on Tuesday saw the Rams move on from corner Aqib Talib, as they shipped him and a fifth-round pick to Miami. The Redskins had seemingly changed course with star left tackle Trent Williams, but if they were fielding offers, they didn't deal him. Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers reportedly were at least willing to listen on offers for tight end O.J. Howard, but they would need to be blown away to actually execute a deal, and apparently that didn't happen.
The biggest rumor was the report form the New York Daily News that the Jets were looking to trade running back Le'Veon Bell. Not only that, but there are rumblings that they'd move on from star safety Jamal Adams as well. Neither went down.
Some other names we were watching throughout the afternoon included receiver A.J. Green, wideout Robby Anderson and even running back Melvin Gordon -- just some of the many names that will be thrown into the rumor mill up until the actual deadline.
On top of the trades themselves, there was plenty of other scuttlebutt that surrounds this deadline. We collected every newsworthy nugget and dissected it. You can relive everything that happened in our live blog below.
Well, that'll do it for the NFL Trade Deadline. Shame all these rumors didn't sprout up to something bigger. Does set the table in an interesting fashion for the offseason. Now, we're on to the second half of the season. Appreciate everyone following along today. Talk soon!
Baltimore was in the mix for Adams, but no dice. https://twitter.com/AdamScheft...
It centers around Williams AND the situation in New York. The Jets very publicly almost moved on from Jamal Adams and Le'Veon Bell. I'm curious to see what their attitude is the rest of the way and entering the offseason.
This is now the biggest question following the deadline. https://twitter.com/diannaESPN...

Feels like this went down to the wire between Dallas and New York, but ultimately couldn't get a deal done. A real bummer. https://twitter.com/RapSheet/s...
Despite a lot of interest, Chris Harris Jr. is staying put it seems. https://twitter.com/diannaESPN...

49ers already made their splash with Sanders, the best move so far for my money. https://twitter.com/CamInman/s...
