SportsLine's model reveals its top Week 1 NFL picks and football predictions for Sunday at BetMGM

The NFL is back, and football fans can use the BetMGM bonus code CBSSPORTS for up to $1,500 in bonus bets if your first bet loses or $150 in bonus bets if your first bet of at least $10 wins as a new user. We're already a couple of games into the season, and there's a full slate on Sunday, including the Bengals offense looking to pick up where it left off after winning five straight to close out the 2024 season. They managed to keep their dynamic trio of Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins together this offseason and open the year with the Browns at 1 p.m. ET. The Bengals are favored by five points, while the over/under for total points scored is 48.
Higgins will be looking to make good on his nine-figure extension this offseason, and he's priced at +130 as an anytime touchdown scorer in the latest NFL odds from BetMGM. With NFL props available for almost every player in every game at sportsbooks, SportsLine's proven computer model can help you find value to add to your Week 1 NFL anytime touchdown scorer bets. They can also help new users take advantage of sportsbook promos like the latest BetMGM bonus code here, where new users get up to $1,500 in bonus bets back if their first bet loses:

Best Week 1 NFL anytime TD scorer picks:
- Tee Higgins, Bengals (+130)
- TreVeyon Henderson, Patriots (+135)
- Zach Charbonnet, Seahawks (+325)
Combining the model's three picks into a Week 1 NFL parlay at BetMGM would result in a payout of +2197 (risk $100 to win $2197). Bet it at BetMGM here:
Tee Higgins, Bengals (+130)
It looked like Higgins might be destined for free agency, but the Bengals managed to get a four-year, $112 million deal done to keep him, Chase and Burrow together. Higgins missed five games last year for the second season in a row, but still managed a career-high 10 touchdowns and he's got 34 touchdowns now in 70 career games. That includes five career touchdowns in the seven games he's played more than one snap against the Browns. The model projects 0.68 touchdowns on average for Higgins while the implied odds are 43.5%.
TreVeyon Henderson, Patriots (+135)
New England thinks it has something in Drake Maye, so it spent its offseason building him an improved offensive line and then adding Henderson to boost the running game. The Ohio State product will now co-star in the backfield with Rhamondre Stevenson, who has averaged 4.0 yards per carry or less over the last two seasons after a breakout 1,000-yard season in 2022 and isn't a huge factor in the passing attack. There's a clear path to a substantial role early for the No. 38 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and the model actually has him outproducing Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty. It projects that he scores 0.60 touchdowns on average to outpace his implied odds of 42.6%.
Zach Charbonnet, Seahawks (+325)
He's locked into a timeshare with Kenneth Walker III, but his backfield mate did miss six games last season and has battled a lingering foot injury during training camp. More importantly, Charbonnet became preferred in short-yardage situations last year, scoring eight rushing touchdowns (six from inside the 10-yard line) and nine overall in 2024. He's also the more natural receiver of the two, and the model has him scoring 0.47 touchdowns against the 49ers while his implied odds are 23.5%.
