It takes a special type of person to sing the Star Spangled Banner before a sporting event.
For one, it's a difficult song to sing (or so I've heard -- I'm not a singer) and you're doing it front of a stadium or arena full of people, which has to be incredibly nerve-racking.
Then there's the fact that, with technology the way it is today, it's probably going to be all over the Internet if you mess it up or forget the words.
That's what happened to this obviously nervous and overwhelmed person before a Memorial Cup game between the Portland Winterhawks and Halifax Mooseheads in Canada on Saturday night.
That's a tough one, and you can't help but feel bad.
Still, it has to be better than the time somebody thought it would be a good idea to let Carl Lewis try.
