NHL playoffs: Western Conference finals tickets more than twice cost of East
TickPick says tickets for Ducks-Predators, over seven games, are an average of nearly $800
The Eastern Conference finals tout the NHL's defending Stanley Cup champions in the Pittsburgh Penguins, but it's the Western Conference showdown that figures to be reeling in the dough at the gate.
Tickets for the Nashville Predators-Anaheim Ducks series, according to TickPick, average nearly $800 -- more than double the cost of the average Penguins-Ottawa Senators game.
And while Penguins ticket prices, averaged across seven games, are fairly similar to those of Senators home games, Nashville's Bridgestone Arena haul far outweighs that of Anaheim, which will host the start of the Western Conference series.

Note the disparities between a potential third home game in Nashville ($1,028) vs. Anaheim ($367.29), not to mention a potential Game 7 Predators-Ducks ($2,270.18) in Anaheim vs. a Game 7 Senators-Penguins matchup ($454.80) in Pittsburgh.
And for history's sake, note the following averages from previous years' conference finals, courtesy of data from TickPick's Jack Slingland:
2016: Penguins vs. Tampa Bay Lightning ($265); St. Louis Blues vs. San Jose Sharks ($291)
2015: Lightning vs. New York Rangers ($703); Ducks vs. Chicago Blackhawks ($472)
2014: Rangers vs. Montreal Canadiens ($751); Blackhawks vs. Los Angeles Kings ($535)
