Todd Bertuzzi to sign tryout contract with AHL's Binghamton Senators
Todd Bertuzzi has agreed to a tryout contract with the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.

Todd Bertuzzi is getting another shot at professional hockey.
Unsigned as a free agent after appearing in 59 games for the Detroit Red Wings last season, Bertuzzi will be signing a 25-game tryout contract with the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators, the team announced on Friday.
He is scheduled to report to the team on Monday, Jan. 12.
It was reported earlier this week that Bertuzzi was looking to get back into the NHL and was making calls around the league looking for a tryout deal, including with the Ottawa Senators. Binghamton is Ottawa's AHL affiliate.
Bertuzzi has played 18 seasons in the NHL with the Islanders, Canucks, Panthers, Ducks, Flames and Red Wings, scoring 314 goals in 1,159 career games. He spent the past five seasons in Detroit but injuries and ineffectiveness when he was in the lineup limited him to just 11 goals over 66 games over the past two years.
