Jonathan Quick has the best butterfly in the NHL. Turns out his two-pad stack is pretty strong too.
In the first period of Monday's Game 2 in Anaheim, the Ducks dumped the puck in and got a pretty great bounce off the end boards. It shot the puck right into the slot where the only player was Anaheim's Devante Smith-Pelly for a point-blank chance.
He got the shot off and Quick was there for the save. Old-school style.
The Ducks would get the equalizing goal just a few moments later on a 4-on-3 power play but still, this save was prettty nice.
