WATCH: 'All Access' goes inside Penguins' locker room after Game 2 win
Conor Sheary was feted as the Game 2 hero
The Pittsburgh Penguins earned a huge win to take a 2-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Final. Conor Sheary's goal early in overtime gave the home team a 2-1 victory.
The cameras from Showtime's All Access: Quest for the Stanley Cup were in the locker room after the game to get the post-win pep talk from head coach Mike Sullivan and the awarding of the Warrior Helmet, which goes to the team's player of the game.
Nick Bonino, the holder of the Warrior Helmet from Game 1, had the responsibility of handing out the award and even though it was obvious who it should go to, the veteran fooled his teammates with a little misdirection before going to Sheary. The rookie put it on and mugged for the cameras real quick.

In praising his team, Sullivan noted one of the things that has been a big difference maker for the Penguins is their ability to shake off adversity. The Pens had been the better team all game, but the Sharks put themselves in a position to steal a victory with Justin Braun's late goal in the third period that ended up forcing overtime. If the Penguins were at all deflated by that goal, it didn't show.
Now Pittsburgh has a 2-0 series lead, which will feel like a massive gap to San Jose with how well the Penguins have played through two games in this series. We've seen how quickly things can change in these playoffs, though, and the Sharks shouldn't be counted out just yet.
