John Scott needed all of 30 seconds to create a little entertainment during the NHL All-Star Game Skills Competition. The controversial Pacific Division captain who no longer plays in the Pacific Division nor the NHL at all, is loving this experience after the fans voted him into the event.

And as a captain for one of the four teams that will compete in the NHL All-Star Tournament, that meant Scott was one of the first players introduced for the Western Conference. However, introduced before him was Central Division captain, Patrick Kane. With Kane being a member of the rival Chicago Blackhawks and the Nashville Predators being the host team, he was not greeted warmly. He was roundly booed, in fact.

However, in a moment of amazingly timed camera work and a priceless reaction from Scott, the Pacific Division captain delivered gold. He did the ol’ point and laugh at his former Blackhawks teammate as he was getting the business from the home fans.

Then Scott ended up receiving the biggest cheer for any player not among the four Nashville Predators in the game. He loved that, too.

Scott has been welcomed with open arms by the fans after the controversy that surrounded his inclusion and there won’t be a player that enjoys himself more than him.
