The Ottawa Senators won again on Thursday night, beating Boston in what was a huge game in the Eastern Conference playoff race to close to within two points of a wild card spot, and players were so excited they were literally eating hamburgers off of the ice. 

But that's not what we're here to focus on right now. 

It's this play, which is an example of what happens when attempted body checks go wrong, and when falling on your butt turns out to be a good thing. At least it was for Ottawa Senatosr forward Bobby Ryan. 

Here (via @PeteBlackburn) we see Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara trying to line up Senators forward Ryan for a big hit along the boards. The only problem for him is the fact Ryan slipped, fell to the ice, and Chara ended up getting a taste of the glass.

Timing is everything.
