Wednesday's 2024 Paris Olympics schedule is full of intrigue, including men's and women's beach volleyball, men's track and field, women's basketball and men's volleyball. In men's volleyball, Poland is a -154 favorite (risk $154 to win $100) against Team USA (+122) in a 10 a.m. ET semifinal matchup. That matchup is followed by Italy (-215) vs. France. In women's beach volleyball, the Brazilian powerhouse duo of Santos Lisboa/Silva Ramos is a big -700 favorite against Latvia's Graudina/Samoilova duo (+470) in the quarterfinals at noon ET.

In women's basketball, USA is -28.5 against Nigeria in the quarterfinals at 3:30 p.m. ET. And in track & field, Noah Lyles continues his quest to sweep the men's 100m and the 200m. He is running in the semifinals for the 200m at 2:02 p.m. ET on Wednesday and he's -700 to win it all when the finals roll around on Thursday. Although Spain went unbeaten through pool play, the oddsmakers are siding with 1-2 Belgium at -5.5 in a women's basketball quarterfinal on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. ET. Tierney understands why the Spaniards are the underdogs, but he also can't pass up the value in this spot. Tierney knows the Belgians are better than what they have shown, but they won't win if they keep playing like they have.

"Belgium limps into the quarterfinals with a single win in pool play, while Spain emerged as the only unbeaten entrant," Tierney told SportsLine. "So why are the Belgians favored? It is widely assumed the reigning EuroBasket champions lollygagged in group games and will now turn it up.
