Barcelona's hot start to the season may be hard to keep up. On Sunday, the club announced that new record signing Ousmane Dembele, Neymar's replacement, would miss significant time after rupturing a bicep in his thigh in the 2-1 win over Getafe on Saturday, and on Tuesday the club announced that he underwent surgery repair a ruptured biceps femoris in his left leg, with a return expected in 3 1/2 months.

The French international joined the club just weeks ago from Borussia Dortmund and had shown some flashes in a couple starts, but now Barca must figure out what to do without the player. Gerard Deulofeu will likely move into the starting lineup as a result.

It's never easy to get a new player and then lose them for months, but the 20-year-old's health must be the focal point and need not rush him back.
