El Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona got violent really quickly. With the score at 0-0 early on in the first half, Lionel Messi was left bloodied on the ground after taking an elbow from Marcelo. The two went for the ball with the Brazilian getting there first, but his elbow was a little high and caught Messi right in the kisser. Take a look:

Marcelo didn't get a card, but you could argue it was worth a yellow or a red. A big break for Real, while Messi looks to respond after receiving quite the hit.
