The Major League Soccer Players Union released the salary information for 2016, with Orlando City star Kaka leading the way at $7.167 million. The top 10 features three USMNT players and three players from Toronto FC and NYCFC. Here's the top 10 list with their guaranteed compensation.

1. Kaka (Orlando City) - $7.167 million

2. Sebastian Giovinco (Toronto FC) - $7.115 million

3. Michael Bradley (Toronto FC) - $6.5 million

Bradley comes in at No. 3. USATSI

4. Steven Gerrard (Los Angles Galaxy) - $6.1 million

Gerrard is No. 4. USATSI

5. Frank Lampard (New York City FC) - $6.0 million

Lampard hasn't played in a game this year, but he is No. 5. USATSI

6. David Villa (New York City FC) - $5.6 million

7. Andrea Pirlo (New York City FC) - $5.9 million

8. Jozy Altidore (Toronto FC) - $4.8 million

9. Clint Dempsey (Seattle Sounders) - $4.6 million

10. Giovani Dos Santos (Los Angeles Galaxy) - $4.2 million

The biggest missing name from the list? It's Montreal's Didier Drogba, who surprisingly makes just $2.16 million in 2016.

By comparison, Lionel Messi's salary at Barcelona is $29 million.
